IPSE is a membership organisation and lobbying voice for freelancers, interim managers, consultants and contractors.

CMME is a broker that helps the self-employed secure mortgages based not only on their regular income but on their annualised daily contract rate. The firm says that customers can potentially borrow up to 5.49 times their annualised contract rate.

Chris Bryce, IPSE’s CEO, said: “Freelancers and contractors have very specific financial needs, and we know we can rely on Contractor Mortgages Made Easy to provide our members with sound, sensible and expert advice.

“They understand both the mortgage market and the specific needs of freelancers and contractors, putting them in the perfect position to advise and support our members.”

Luke Somerset, business development director at CMME, said: “There are many myths around securing mortgages for contractors and freelancers and we can now dispel some of those myths and work with IPSE’s members to help them navigate the process and make it as easy as possible for them.

“Like IPSE we are committed to supporting the UK’s freelance community and we are looking forward to providing IPSE’s members with expert mortgage advice tailored for their specific needs.”
For 15 years CMME has been specialising in mortgages for the self-employed and has 120+ people working in its Hampshire office.
